Welcome to the New Year!

Finals:

First Semester Finals will be happening January 22^rd and January 23^rd  (Tues/Wed)

Class periods will run 75 min each, with Periods 1,3,5 on Tues and Periods 2,4,6 on Wed

All periods are expected to have a final exam or final project during these periods.

Thursday, January 24^th will be a half day with dismissal at 10:20 am

(Teacher Professional Development Day)

Monday, January 28^th is the start of the Second Semester

New Phones:

If you are experiencing problems with the phone system at the school, please be patient.

Edmonds School District has put in a new phone system and everyone is learning.

One great new feature is that if you leave a staff member a voice message, that message is automatically sent to e-mail system. Cool.

Guest Speaker Tonight: Diana White, an Education Services Specialist

Mark your calendars and have your kids sign-up for the Feb. 5^th opportunity to take the ASVAB Career Exploration Test, which allows your student to explore their interests and skills with numerous career options. Tonight, as parents, we had the opportunity to actually take the 90 question test, where you simply stated whether you Liked, Disliked or were Indifferent to a given activity. You then score your own test and begin matching your answers to numerous career options. A very worthwhile activity.

Taking part in this Test is totally FREE.

This test is open to Sophomores, Junior & Seniors

It will take place on Feb. 5^th, from 7:30am – 11:30am

Kids need to sign-up in the Career Center!
