Parent Volunteers Needed!

· PSAT Proctors needed: Wed. Oct. 17^th, 7:00am-Noon

· *Volunteers cannot have their student testing anywhere in the district.

· Mock Interviews

· We are looking for volunteers to interview students to help them prepare for the real world. Tuesday, October 23^rd and Friday, October 25^th from 7AM- 11:00 and 12:00-2PM.

· Support Amendment 4204, Simple Majority. Phone Bank Volunteers Needed!

· Phone Bank will take place October 20^th, from 1:00 – 2:30. The passage of this amendment will allow our school levies to pass with a simple majority (50% + one vote), versus the current required 60% super majority.

· College & Career Fair, Everett Event Center

· Parent Chaperones needed, Tues, Oct. 16^th, 9:15am-12:15pm

· Daily Bicycle Class!

· Join the kids and get in shape! Bike rides take place daily from 1:10 – 2:00pm

Guest Speaker tonight was Michael Clune, MTHS Substance Abuse Counselor. Michael’s role is to respond to drug use, drug abuse, substance use, anger management and offers referrals and monitors treatment. He is available at the school on M, T, Th & F. At the school last year, he started an out-patient treatment program, which will continue this year. Parents may ask Michael do to an evaluation of their child.
